Gd Ritzy in Huntington

Nothing more nostalgic than this place. Old Fashioned burgers, shoestring fries and cheese, all topped off with a great shake. Wonderful family that owns this little gem. If you've never been, you're missing out.

Ritzys was a high part of my childhood in Columbus Ohio. And when they closed up I can remember my par6being genuinely upset. And when I hit my late 30s I would reminisce about places like this from my childhood. Fast forward to today and I'm 41. I move to Huntington WV and see they have a GD Ritzys. My heart starts to fill with memories of my parents whom are long passed away. So I stop to order lunch for me and my sick girlfriend. And the food tastes lust like it did when I was a kid. It was so good. I smiled the whole time while telling stories about my parents and out Sunday trips to Ritzys because the food was always cheap. The burgers rock and the fries are great.

The building need remodeled bad it looks dirty by the drive through. The food is decent but its fallen down hill a bit. I enjoy the 7 way chili, the burgers or a grilled chicken sandwich.

This place is awesome. Every time my family drives through West Virginia, we make it a point to stop at Ritzy's. I have never had a bad burger. I've never had a mediocre burger. I have only had the best burgers of my entire life. It doesn't look glamorous, but the moment that juicy, perfectly cooked meat hits your mouth, you're already thinking about getting another burger after you finish the one you're currently eating. The fries are just as amazing and addictive. There has yet to be a time where I don't leave with a second cup of fries. This place is amazing and I hope they stay in business always.

I love their cheeseburgers. If I am in Huntington and close to this place I'll always eat there. They have the best fries I've ever ordered. The fries are small cut and always crispy. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent. The food was prepared to perfection. I miss this entire chain because I always loved their food.

The food was okay. We didn't get what we ordered. The staff was not friendly and the person who made our hot dogs had their phone on the counter where the food was being prepared playing a game .

I ordered a Philly cheese steak sub with some fries and a drink. I love the shoestring fries they serve and the sandwich was made to order and absolutely hit the spot. I'll be checking this place out again when given the chance. I like that their menu has a variety too, I almost ordered their fried bologna sandwich or baked potato just because I could. recommended.

Nice people, but the food is way overpriced for the quality. I could make better food at home. Gone down hill a bit. So sad😔

We go here a couple a times a month, seems like its going down hill slowly, this past visit the burger was very good but the fries wasnt even warm...the burger its self was worth 4 stars....

Nice little diner, if you spend any time in Huntington it's a must try.

The building looks horrible and looks almost abandoned. The outside building needs painted and redone asap. It looks disgusting. When I pulled up I thought they was shut down. The food is not as good as it used to be. Fries were rock hard and i couldnt chew. They need to really get with it for it to stay successful. This place isnt like it was when i was a kid. The food used to be flawless. Hope they fix it or i doubt will last.

This was a new spot for me but was well worth it

3 way chilies is my wife's favorite. I love that they have sherbet (rainbow, wish they had lime!) They do by the scoop and 1 pint and 1 quart hand pack.

One of our favorite places to eat. Delicious hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. Their deluxe garden salad with chicken is delicious and their homemade croutons are the best I've ever eaten!

A favorite place for a quick burger or fast food. They have s good variety of food including ice cream. Staff is fast and friendly. Dining room, parking lot and area is clean and neat.

Great place to go for fast food

It's not healthy, but so good. Everything on the menu is great. I love the chicken, but the shoestring fries really do it for me. Great place for a casual lunch with your friends or family. It's smaller in the inside, but well worth the visit.

GREAT FOOD GREAT PLACE TO EAT AT AND DINE IN

Been here many times. Today was not so good. All the burgers seemed really dry and the French fries were stale tasting. The only good thing was the onion rings. The place was not busy. It just want to to it's usual standing

A busy place with great service and food.

My only issue with GD Ritzys is the fact that they are a small business, I wish they had at least one more location just to get more people to try it.

Shoestring French fries, solid burgers and chili, and shakes and ice cream good too.
